eDiscovery Solutions Group will market Catelas Relationship Forensics to its Global 2000 client base to enable more comprehensive analysis and reporting of electronic communications during Early Case Assessment (ECA) and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) processing
Boston, MA (June 1, 2010) - eDiscovery Solutions Group (eDSG), an emerging leader in providing comprehensive eDiscovery and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) consulting, services and technology worldwide announced today that Catelas has joined the eDiscovery Solutions Group Consortium. Catelas Relationship Forensics is a fundamentally new approach to analyzing and reporting electronic communications as may be required to fulfill the Early Case Assessment (ECA) and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) needs of enterprises worldwide.
Catelas imports and analyzes electronic communications data, such as email, Instant Messaging and electronic telephony from systems such as Microsoft Exchange Servers, Lotus Notes and VoIP systems. By automatically identifying communication links between employees and between employees and non-employees, developing timelines for when the communications occurred and then applying sophisticated algorithms score and rank each of these communication links, Catelas can quick and easily identify key custodians for eDiscovery and "persons of interest" for Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and security investigations.
"Catelas enables analysts to move beyond normal email log file lists and even email thread management and actually identifies those electronic communications and the associated employees that are most relevant to an investigation," stated Eddie Cogan, CEO of Catelas. "We believe that the increase in productivity and the quality of the information identified using Catelas will enable users to realize a full return on its investment in Catelas within the first few ECA or GRC projects," continued Mr. Cogan.
eDiscovery Solutions Group will be marketing Catelas to the Global 2000 both directly and through its international consortium of independent consultants, consulting organizations, litigation service providers and eDiscovery technology vendors. "On behalf of eDSG and our consortium members, I am very pleased to be able to announce the addition of Catelas to our product portfolio," stated Charles Skamser, President and CEO of eDiscovery Solutions Group. "Catelas is the next generation of ESI analytic solutions that are going to revolutionize Early Case Assessment (ECA) and drive down the overall cost of eDiscovery. We believe that it will be a perfect fit for our Global 2000 client base as they bring eDiscovery in-house over the next 18 months," continued Mr. Skamser.
