Boston, MA (April 1, 2010) - Catelas, an emerging leader in Relationship Forensics, announced today that it has launched its second generation product - the market’s first holistic platform for communications analytics: a single platform serves the needs of Compliance, Legal and Information Security.
Catelas is the first company to analyze people relationship networks using email log files and native emails. By automatically displaying a company’s communication network, either as a single person, a group of people, or the entire company, Catelas has created a ‘people surveillance system’. The solution dynamically maps -- ‘who is talking to whom’ and ‘why’, a system proving to be especially valuable for Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).
The single Catelas platform is being used to serve the needs of Compliance (information barriers, watch lists, control rooms), Legal (Early Case Analytics & Preservation) and Information Security (investigations & information theft). Log Files are used as an always-on surveillance system to monitor, identify, alert and report on suspicious communications activity. Having uncovered a case that requires further investigation, precise email documents can then be tagged for collection (from archival systems) and subsequent review, saving significant time and money.
